what i’ve done

Mainvest (Director of Marketing)

investment marketplace for SMBs

Built the growth engine from scratch for a community investment marketplace; scaled accounts and created a repeatable campaign model.

highlights

  • Grew business ecosystem <100 → 15K accounts; supported $1MM+ monthly investment inventory.

  • Launched omni-channel lifecycle flows (on‑page, SMS, email, concierge).

  • Grew our investor email list from 2k-500k+, developed email strategy and design, and experimented at scale

  • Ran continuous A/B tests; promoted winning messaging into evergreen playbooks.

  • Developed a consistent content & SEO strategy.

  • Secured hundreds of press hits (incl. Yahoo, Business Insider) → millions of impressions.

  • Built & led 6–10 person cross‑functional team; 2 promoted to leadership.

Mainvest was a zero‑to‑one challenge: build awareness, build trust, and build a flywheel for two very different audiences—small businesses and retail investors. I designed the full funnel, from first touch to repeat investment. That meant rolling out on‑page prompts, SMS and email sequences, and even phone‑based concierge support where it mattered. We tested relentlessly, folded winners into evergreen campaigns, and turned press into a steady top‑of‑funnel driver. I developed a full-scale content and SEO strategy that saw us competing with top-ranked sites while delivering timely, relevant messaging to our audiences. The outcome was a durable system that grew the ecosystem from a few thousand to fifteen thousand accounts and supported over a million dollars in monthly inventory.

Leapcure (Marketing Lead)

patient recruitment for clinical trials

Unified growth strategy for a $30MM+ revenue clinical trial recruitment firm; scaled paid while keeping CAC steady in a volatile healthcare market.

highlights

  • Oversee $5MM+ annual performance budget across 8+ platforms (Meta, Google, Reddit, TikTok, programmatic, TV).

  • Maintained stable CAC while supporting 5–10% MoM patient pipeline growth.

  • Cut reporting time –75%; increased campaign launch velocity +50% via process & automation.

  • Provided strategic support across sales & marketing; mentored a new performance hire.

  • Built collateral (case studies, white papers, creative) for recruitment and BD conversations.

Clinical recruitment is dynamic—seasonality, eligibility, and operational realities all shape performance. My focus at Leapcure is to keep the engine calm and compounding: expand channel mix, protect CAC, and accelerate experimentation without adding chaos. I rebuilt reporting to free up the team’s time, sped up campaign launches, and served as a consultative partner across sales and marketing. The result is a steadier, faster motion that supports patient growth while keeping acquisition costs predictable.

Let Go Studio (Client Success)

marketing agency for psychedelic firms

Full‑funnel Meta campaigns for established and emerging psychedelics clients, pairing practical tactics with thoughtful, compliant messaging.

highlights

  • One client generated 700+ leads at $2 CPL via Meta.

  • Build end‑to‑end journeys: ad → landing → nurture/retargeting → conversion.

  • Develop unique lead magnets that engage new users and excite clients, including PDF downloads, quizzes, and info sessions.

  • Apply advisory + execution: lightweight team, high impact.

  • Clients include both established and emerging brands across legal psychedelics, non-profits, and events/conferences.

In emerging categories, the work is part education, part demand generation. At Let Go Studio, we build practical, compliant funnels that move curious people from awareness to action. Tight targeting, clear creative, and a short, respectful nurture sequence keeps costs low and intent high, resulting in meaningful impact for a wide range of clients. I’m deeply passionate about psychedelics and what they can offer us as individuals at the most fundamental level, so I’m grateful to be able to apply my professional experience to support established and emerging brands working at the intersection of medicine, recreation, business, and respect for indigenous practices.

my approach

Coming from a startup background, I don’t see marketing as individual tactics. I see it as foundational.

strategic

Action without purpose is just noise. Even in small teams, I always apply an overarching strategy to guide tactical work, placing it into the context of a firm’s basic goals. Having both seed and growth experience enables me to see a bigger picture without being afraid to get in the weeds. I also really like chess, so there’s that.

human-centered

Am I an AI connoisseur? Yes. I build excellent prompts, and I’ve used ChatGPT to increase certain processes by over 75%. But the real key in marketing these days is human discernment, and knowing what to automate and what to apply human brainpower to. Empathy, nuance, and a good gut are essential to successful marketing, across disciplines.

data-driven

About that “good gut” bit I just said? I back it up with data, or else I have a really good reason not to. I have hard data skills, and rely on a team that keeps solidly clean and useful data handy to inform decisions and accurately predict risk. Reporting, maintaining logs, and tracking progress are just as exciting to me as “vibes.”

let’s cut to the chase

I thrive at the intersection of autonomy and structure, where a smallish, mission-driven team is ready to grow, but needs someone to connect the dots.

I’ve led teams, managed multi million-dollar budgets, and kept acquisition steady in unpredictable markets. More importantly, I love the challenge of building systems that last, while keeping the human side of marketing front and center.

If that sounds like the kind of person your team needs, I’d love to connect.

While I’m primarily seeking full-time opportunities, I’m always happy to chat about:

  • New startups in the health tech or SMB spaces

  • Psychedelics, in general

  • Fractional marketing opportunities and needs

  • Salem, Massachusetts

  • The West Wing, Succession, or Drag Race
